Description

Standard PRH4-6x1500 Hydraulic 4-Roll Plate roller with Double Initial Pinch (Pre-Bend):

A hydraulic 4-roll plate roller with pre-bend is a machine used to bend metal plates into a cylindrical shape. The machine consists of four rollers, with the two bottom rollers fixed in place and the two top rollers adjustable for precise bending. The bottom rollers are powered by hydraulic cylinders, allowing for consistent and precise pressure throughout the bending process.

The pre-bending feature allows the machine to bend a small section of the plate before the main bending process begins, ensuring a tighter and more accurate bend. This is achieved through a series of adjustments to the top and bottom rollers, which work together to form the pre-bend.

To use the machine, the operator places a metal plate between the two bottom rollers and adjusts the position of the top rollers to create the desired pre-bend. The machine then applies pressure to the plate, causing it to bend around the rollers into a cylindrical shape. The process is repeated until the desired shape is achieved.

The hydraulic 4-roll plate roller with pre-bend is commonly used in industries such as construction, shipbuilding, and metal fabrication, where precise and consistent bending of metal plates is required.

Main Features:

  • One-time roll forming, intelligent control.
  • Visual input touch screen, editing process steps, which can store 100 sets of data
EPS electronic balance system, the system keeps the roller movement parallel within 0.10mm range.
  • Self diagnosis fault, man support machine dialogue, intelligent judgment of operating errors.
  • This machine is driven by hydraulic cylinders with high repeatability.
  • The 4 - roller shaft is driven by multi-stage deceleration hydraulic pressure, the large torque is stable and reliable.
  • Steel plate welded integral frame and base to meet medium and large rolling strength.
  • The frame and the base are annealed as a whole to eliminate stress and never deform.
  • The roller shaft is forged as a whole and has undergone hardening treatment process of quenching and tempering.
  • Compatible with manual and automatic modes.

How to use a Hydraulic 4-Roll Plate roller

Using a hydraulic 4-roll plate roller with pre-bend involves several steps:

  1. Preparing the machine: Before using the machine, ensure that it is properly installed and securely anchored to the floor or foundation. Check that all components are in good working condition and that the rollers are clean and free from debris.
  2. Setting the pre-bend: Adjust the position of the top and bottom rollers to create the desired pre-bend. This involves adjusting the distance between the rollers and the pressure applied by the hydraulic cylinders.
  3. Loading the plate: Position the metal plate between the bottom rollers with the pre-bend section at the appropriate location.
  4. Starting the machine: Power on the machine and activate the hydraulic cylinders to start the rolling process. The plate will begin to bend around the rollers.
  5. Adjusting the rollers: Make any necessary adjustments to the position and pressure of the top and bottom rollers to ensure a smooth and consistent bend. This may involve slowing down or stopping the machine to make adjustments.
  6. Repeating the process: Continue rolling the plate until the desired shape is achieved. This may involve several passes through the machine, adjusting the pre-bend and roller positions as necessary.
  7. Unloading the plate: Once the plate has been fully rolled, remove it from the machine and inspect it for any defects or imperfections.

It is important to follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when using a hydraulic 4-roll plate roller with pre-bend, as the process can involve high levels of force and pressure.
