Description

The shaper machines push can be a straight reciprocating motion, while the tool rest rotates to multiple angles on the vertical plane. These machine can also be fed manually. The intermittent horizontal/vertical feed movement is made possible due to the workpieces being taken along the workbench. This machine can process plan, groove, dovetail surfaces as well as processing forming surfaces. Workpieces fixed onto the workbench can also get cut by the reciprocating motion tool rest .

How to use a metal shaping machine
