Description

Standard BM-250 Manual Swing Head Bandsaw:

A manual swing head bandsaw is a type of bandsaw that features a swiveling cutting head which allows the operator to make angled cuts. It is typically operated manually by the user, who feeds the material through the blade using a cutting table or vise. This type of bandsaw is often used in metalworking and woodworking applications for cutting a variety of materials, including metal, wood, plastics, and composites. It is designed for medium to heavy-duty cutting tasks and can be used for both straight and curved cuts. The saw blade is driven by a motor and is guided through the material by a set of rollers or bearings. The operator can adjust the angle of the cutting head to make angled cuts, typically up to 60 degrees.

Main Features:

  • The band saw has a maximum processing capacity of 254mm, thanks to its high-capacity motor control.
  • It has the ability to rotate from 0° to 45°, providing added versatility.
  • One of its notable advantages is its quick clamping feature.
  • The machine operates through a belt drive system and offers four cutting speeds.
  • The descent speed of the saw bow is regulated by a hydraulic cylinder.
  • Additionally, it is equipped with a sizing device that automatically halts the machine after the completion of material sawing.
  • Moreover, to ensure safety, it features a power break protection device that guarantees the machine stops in the event of a power failure.
