    How to use a 3D scanner

    To use a Revopoint POP 3D scanner, follow these steps:

    1. Setup: Place the scanner on a stable surface, ensuring it's connected to a power source and your computer or mobile device via USB or Wi-Fi.

    2. Install Software: Download and install the Revopoint POP software on your computer or mobile device.

    3. Calibration: Follow the on-screen instructions to calibrate the scanner. This step ensures accurate scanning results.

    4. Start Scanning: Open the Revopoint POP software and choose the scanning mode (object mode or body mode) based on what you're scanning.

    5. Prepare the Object: Place the object you want to scan on a stable surface in a well-lit environment. For best results, use a turntable if the object is small or needs to be scanned from multiple angles.

    6. Scan: Hold the scanner steady and start scanning the object. Move the scanner around the object, ensuring you capture all sides and angles. The software will display the scanned areas in real-time.

    7. Merge Scans: If you're scanning a larger object, you may need to merge multiple scans. Follow the software's instructions to align and merge the scans into a single 3D model.

    8. Export: Once you're satisfied with the scan, export the 3D model in the desired format (e.g., OBJ, STL) for further editing or use in other applications.

    9. Cleanup: Depending on the scanning quality, you may need to clean up the 3D model using software like MeshLab or Blender to remove any artifacts or imperfections.

    10. Post-processing: Optionally, you can apply textures, colors, or other effects to the 3D model to enhance its appearance.
