How to use a Manual Bandsaw

Set up the saw: Place the material to be cut on the saw table and adjust the vise to hold it securely in place. Adjust the blade guides to ensure that the blade is properly positioned for the cut.

• Adjust the saw for the cut: Adjust the angle of the saw blade and the position of the saw head to make the desired cut.
• Start the saw: Turn on the power to the saw and wait for the blade to reach full speed.
• Make the cut: Slowly lower the saw head onto the material being cut, using the handwheel or foot pedal to control the speed. Move the material through the blade to complete the cut.
• Turn off the saw: When the cut is complete, turn off the power to the saw and wait for the blade to come to a complete stop.
• Clean up: Remove the cut material from the saw table and clean up any debris or scraps.
